idoia.org is a group of artists that have decided to associate to share the benefits of a private internet infrastructure funded with their own money. We are artists from France, United Kingdom, United States of America, Canada, Italy, Brazil and Spain and we are about to get a 24/7 audio streaming server that is completely self financed.

We have heard that without financial help it is not possible to do good things. We do think that it is. Moreover, we think that (private or public) fundings are generally not doing any good to Art. They nurture a context of destructive competition that we believe to be intentional. We suffer from this phenomenom everyday.

We have been told that politics had nothing to do with Art. Art is expression and as such, Art is Politics. Controlling Culture to master mass population seems to be the new political agenda of all our modern societies. We are simply concerned about our freedom to produce Art.
